One of the most important parts of a CCTV system is the
DVR (Digital Video Recorder) itself or more accurately
the hard drive inside the DVR. This along with the
internal power supply are most likely to be
problematical. The hard drive records all the
information that is passed on to it by the various CCTV
cameras on your system. Unfortunately the hard drive
inside is a mechanical device and as such is prone to
mechanical failure causing a number of different's
symptoms, safe to say if you think your CCTV system is
not working correctly, it is probably best to have the
DVR checked for a possible potential hard drive failure.
